Colorado Springs lies at the base of famous Pikes Peak in south-central Colorado. With more than a half-million residents, Colorado Springs is the second largest city in Colorado and sits over 6,000 ft above sea level. The Colorado Springs Metro area includes El Paso and Teller counties and is home to more than 600,000 residents. Colorado Springs has over 100 miles of multi-use trails and, with an average of 300 days of sunshine a year, is known for great weather allowing year-round outdoor activities.
