Well Child Waiting Areas
Child care can often be a barrier to healthcare access for many Peak Vista patients. As a result, Peak Vista has established three Well Child Waiting Areas whose trained personnel provide quality child care for well children for the duration of a parent’s or sibling’s clinical visit. A strict identification process assures safety and security for each child receiving care.
During the child’s stay, time is spent on education and interaction with toys, books and other equipment graciously donated by Peak Vista staff and the community.
There is no charge for the service and children must be in good health.
