The pharmacy services offered at Peak Vista Community Health Centers (Peak Vista) play a crucial role in our patient care and are accessible to all patients. Peak Vista operates two pharmacies:

  1. Pharmacy at Union (225 S Union Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910; 719-344-6464)
  2. Pharmacy at Academy (3207 N Academy Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80917; 719-344-6398)

Pharmacy Services at Peak Vista
Our pharmacy department is comprised of 11 technicians, 11 pharmacists, and one clerk across both locations. Our staff work together to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of pharmaceutical care.

Certain clinical pharmacists also deliver diabetes care and conduct anticoagulation monitoring.

Making Prescriptions Affordable and Accessible
In 2023, our pharmacies dispensed over 115,000 prescriptions, extending affordable prescription services to underinsured, uninsured, and Medicaid patients.

We are able to get medications at a significant discount through a special pricing program. The resulting savings are passed on to our patients. This special pricing framework lets us optimize our resources for the benefit of the greatest number of patients.

For patients needing high-cost medications that our pharmacies do not stock, our Patient- Assistance Technicians help enroll them in drug company programs that provide medicines at no cost.

Moreover, our pharmacy uses a medication synchronization service which automates patient prescriptions refills on a chosen day of the month.
