Peak Vista broke ground on the Peak Vista Community Health Center Downtown on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. The health center will be located at the corner of S. Tejon St. and E. Las Vegas St. and is scheduled to open in early 2022.
The Peak Vista Community Health Center Downtown will provide medical, dental, behavioral health and care coordination services to those experiencing homelessness, at risk of experiencing homelessness and other members of the community.
Construction of the $4.5 million center will be funded through grants, donations and a $500,000 block grant from the city of Colorado Springs
GE Johnson is the contractor for the construction of the new health center, following the designs of the local firm, RTA Architects.
