Because each hiring manager has a different time frame for filling a position, there is not a definite time when we can guarantee that you will hear back. If a manager is interested in interviewing you, you will be contacted by phone. If you are not being considered, or the position has been filled, you will receive an e-mail. You do not need to apply for a position more than once.
Yes, you can apply with a paper application at our Administration building. However, applying online is the fastest, most efficient way to get your application to one of our hiring managers. If you have already applied for a position online, you should not submit another paper application for that same position.
We may consider candidates for positions that they have not specifically applied for. However, we recommend that you apply for each position that interests you, even if they have the same job title. There are often multiple openings under the same title, but each has a different position number.
If a position is no longer posted on our website, the hiring manager is no longer accepting applications.
We typically receives dozens of well-qualified candidates for each position. Unfortunately, we cannot hire, or even interview, every applicant who applies. Here are some things to consider when applying for a position:

We employ all providers under contracts with 1 year terms. Providers also have to complete credentialing once a contract is signed; this must be finalized before employment begins. On average, the credentialing process takes approximately 90 days.
Yes, because we are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), all of our health center sites are approved by the NHSC and CHSC for loan repayment program for awarded recipients.
Depending on the candidates' schedule, an on-site visit can last 4-8 hours and will usually include an interview with the hiring manager and VP of Medical and Dental, tour of selected Peak Vista facilities, a benefits briefing and job shadowing with providers. Lunch or dinner is usually included so that you may meet and talk with our current providers in a casual setting.
No. While applicants need not be Board Certified, we require applicants to be board eligible, and Board Certification must be complete, before the start of employment. A valid Colorado license is also required before the start of employment.
