HOW WE PARTICIPATE | Staff Spotlights, Sweet Treats, Themed Days, Bingo
Staff Spotlights

Throughout this week, we’ve been highlighting staff members from across the organization whose work enables Peak Vista to provide exceptional health care to our community. You can check out each spotlight on our NHCW24 blogs.

Sweet Treats
We gifted each staff member with a chocolate bar as a small token of our appreciation for all of the work they do day in and day out.

Themed Days and Jeans Week
If you’ve visited our locations this week, you may have noticed everyone wearing the same color and rocking their best pairs of jeans. This week was a jeans week at Peak Vista, a staff favorite. We also encouraged our team members to participate in our color-a-day challenge and match each day’s color theme.

Bingo
We can’t take all the credit for this one. We invited our staff members to win big with the National Association for Community Health Centers’ (NACHC) bingo challenge. Those participating must connect CHC-related themes, roles, and services to Peak Vista for a chance to win prizes.

STAFF SPOTLIGHT | Kasey Neville
It takes a village to provide care to more than 74,000 patients per year. This NHCW, we’re shining the spotlight on members of our team who help keep Peak Vista running and providing exceptional care to our community.

The Human Resources department plays a vital role at Peak Vista. They focus on our most valuable resource: our employees! Through recruiting passionate individuals; providing staff enrichment, education, and workplace wellness programs; and helping employees understand their rights and benefits, they are key to Peak Vista’s success.

Kasey joined the Peak Vista team in 2022, and her impact has been significant. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, she works closely with operational leadership to evaluate candidates for open positions. She values the opportunity to connect with individuals who are enthusiastic about making a positive impact in the community. While Kasey always seeks those who have the skills and experience for a position, she also works with teams to find the perfect fit for their department – asking them what they value most in potential team members, how their team operates, and truly trying to understand role.

Working at a nonprofit health center has given Kasey a sense of pride, especially when she connects with candidates who have used Peak Vista's services. She finds fulfillment in the Peak Vista team's ability to deliver high-quality care and connect people with community resources and educational programs.

Peak Vista’s Administrative Services provides support for 24 Peak Vista locations in Colorado Springs and beyond. Kasey was chosen by her supervisor to be featured due to her exceptional work ethic and embodiment of Peak Vista's values.
