Peak Vista Provides Nearly 600 Back-to-School Physicals at Care Fair Events Around the Region

Peak Vista provided students in our community with nearly 600 back-to-school physicals over three Care Fair events. Students who completed their physical also received a free backpack filled with school supplies to help set them up for success in the new school year. In total, Peak Vista gave out 592 backpacks.

Peak Vista Donates 1,000 Solar Chargers to Communities Experiencing Homelessness

On Tuesday, August 16, Peak Vista donated 1,000 solar-powered, portable battery chargers to Colorado Springs organizations who serve community members in need, including individuals experiencing homelessness. The donation concluded Peak Vista’s National Health Center Week activities, which also included canned food drives and appreciation events for patients and staff.

Free Health Screenings Offered for Uninsured Women in Colorado

The Women's Wellness Connection provides screening for cervical cancer and breast cancer," said Kady Moehring. "We do pelvic exams with pap smears, and then we also do a breast exam and order a mammogram, where you will be provided a voucher. So you also have a free mammogram."

Peak Vista Receives Donation from Award-Winning Women’s Golf Club

Peak Vista Community Health Centers (Peak Vista) was the recipient of funds generated by the Patty Jewett 2022 Charity Golf Tournament, hosted July 7, 2022. First Visitor is a free home visitation program that provides education and resources to new or expecting parents. The program, unlike many in the area, is completely open to the public, allowing it to help more parents in need. Any family with children between the ages of zero to five years old is eligible, regardless of income level or affiliation with Peak Vista.
